Hospital Quality
Hospital Quality
BayCare Clinic cares about quality. The Clinic's objective is to
provide patients and employers with Quality Data in an
understandable format.
As a minority owner of Aurora BayCare Medical Center, BayCare
Clinic is interested in the quality processes of the hospital. The
Medical Center has its own nurses and other personnel, of course,
who are under its supervision, and not the Clinic's. Nevertheless,
quality components are intertwined between hospital and Clinic, so
measurements of hospital quality often provide a sense of clinic
quality and vice-versa.
In addition, although BayCare Clinic's physicians do not control
hospital employees, its specialists require the full collaboration
of their hospital to pursue quality goals, and naturally the
hospital requires the full collaboration of its specialists.
At the hospital and at the Clinic, quality measurements are
evolving rapidly. BayCare Clinic and Aurora BayCare Medical Center
are investing resources independently into improving quality
measurements and reporting.

There are a variety of websites which the public can access that
provide information about the quality of services provided by
hospitals. Many of these sites allow you to compare
measurement results amongst area hospitals. BayCare Clinic is
proud to be an integral partner in achieving the results reported
for the Aurora BayCare Medical Centers.
